Cindy Rieckhoff has a reputation . . . a good one . . . in the trail running community.
I first heard about her as I was pacing Abby (Kathryn Ivey) through the night at the Outlaw 100. Abby told me about how Cindy custom build a small camping trailer for all the ultramarathons she traveled to.
Later, the next morning, I saw Cindy’s jeep and camper, but I didn’t have a chance to meet her.
But I began following her on Facebook and I’ve enjoyed seeing her adventures in words and pictures. I hope one day to be able to run trails with her in real life, but don’t want to wait. I’m excited to hear her stories as we have a virtual “trail talk.”
